JET.L is a numerically controlled machining center with 5 interpolated axes, designed for machining operations as:
Tenoning / Finger Jointing / Drilling
Mortising / Milling / 4/5 axis profiling
Designed to machine long pieces (frames, beds, stairs, face frames), this machining center features high-speed mobile upright (100m/min.) that moves longitudinally (X axis).
The machining center may be equipped with 1 or 2 automatic hopper feeders and 1 or 2 pre-loading systems for single pieces.

ADJUSTABLE CLAMPS
Pneumatic clamps that clamp from the bottom upwards, with adjustable height and tiltable reference stops, making it possible to adjust the system to the shape of the piece being machined without the need for jigs. Extremely sturdy and with a double stem (30mm diam.) to ensure efficient clamping action even during operations that entail the removal of large amounts of material. The clamps slide in the horizontal X direction and the vertical Z direction on linear guides, with semi-automatic positioning controlled by the Pitagora software.
These clamps combined with the automatic loaders are protected by the Bacci “Double reference system” and “Synchronized loading/unloading” patents.

Numerically controlled automatic clamps positioning in the horizontal X and vertical Z directions (Bacci Patent) on linear guides drastically reduces set-up time.

REMOVABLE TGV TABLES
In addition to feeding by means of automatic hopper feeders, the machine may also be optionally equipped with 2 or more removable TGV rails (variable geometry table), to hold pieces using vacuum suction or pneumatic clamps (manual loading).
This optional device allows machines that clamp pieces by means of clamps to profile components along their entire perimeter without interruptions.

T2+2 HEAD TYPE
A single fork holding two double-exit electric spindles placed in cross position and extremely compact. The opposite exits of the same spindle rotate in opposite directions.

AUTOMATIC LOADER/UNLOADER
Machine productivity is optimized thanks to the extremely rapid loading and unloading time of only 3.5 seconds, using the automatic hopper feeder (a Bacci patent) that loads and unloads pieces simultaneously.Machined pieces are unloaded at a height of 1,200 mm from the ground, ensuring the full ergonomics of piece recovery.Max. section of automatically loaded pieces 100x60mm (different on request). The hopper feeder magazines slide on linear guides for easy parking outside the work area in case of manual loading/unloading of pieces.

DOUBLE REFERENCE SYSTEM
The double reference system (a Bacci patent) is made by a combination of stops and pneumatic pushers located in the hopper feeder and on the clamps, which make it possible to decide which piece reference surface to use at each work cycle.
For this reason, the double reference system (a Bacci patent) allows machining right and left elements with a single setup of the clamps. Therefore, clamps set-up need be carried out only once for right and left elements.
